People often cope better when they are working if they can see out of a window when working, although sometimes this can totally distract.  Only you will know what is going to suit you best, so take this into account when making your home office design.  Do keep in mind though that it is no good working when you are facing direct sunlight, or if your computer monitor or laptop is in direct sun as you will not be able to view it!
